BACKGROUND INFO

EDUCATION
I graduated in three years from Northwestern University in 2010 with a BA in Sociology. Two of my primary focuses of study were social inequality and organized crime.

My senior thesis was on "The Sociology of Space," which detailed the effects of social inequality on Chicago hotel design over the last 100 years. More specifically, it explored the causes and the implications of private versus public lobby space in local luxury hotels.

NON-PROFIT EXPERIENCE
TBD DOG PRISON PROGRAM | Chicago Lead | Spring 2018 | I am currently coordinating an inmate / shelter dog rehabilitation program for Chicago prisons. The most recent state program was defunded, but the non-profit model that exists in other states is incredibly effective. Additional information available shortly.

The takeaway is: I do well with everything from design and strategy to relationship building, and I love collaborating, but I work most efficiently in a quiet private office or at home.

CONVERSATION STARTERS
My hobbies include spinning (indoor biking), skeet shooting, interior design, hosting dinner parties, and smothering my rescue Great Dane, Minnie.

I was the weirdest kid ever; I watched Martha Stewart instead of cartoons, but it all paid off when I met her recently and we hit it off.

That being said, these days I am partial to Ina Garten's recipes, but please don't tell Martha that. Did you know that before Ina started Barefoot Contessa in the Hamptons she worked in The White House Office under Presidents Ford and Carter and she wrote the nuclear energy budget? She is also a pilot. And the word on the street is that her husband Jeffrey might actually be an undercover assassin. But you didn't hear it from me.

As a final somewhat unbelievable fact, I lived in Hollywood for a year between high school and college.
